Several industry captains were present at the event led by the Chief Guest and Managing Director of Vivo Energy, Mr. Polycarp Igathe. Also present was the Nominated PS for Housing and Urban Development, Arch. Aida Munano, NCA Chairman, Arch. Steven Oundo, NCA Chief Executive Officer, Arch. Daniel Manduku, IQSK Chairman, Q.S. Andrew Mandere and AAK Vice President, Arch. Emma Miloyo among others.

Basco Paints, Business Development Manager, Ziad El Khoury shared with the guests on the growth of the company over the past 40 years and the strides it had achieved in the building and construction industry. On the other hand, the AAK President, Arch. Waweru lauded Basco Paints for consistently supporting AAK by hosting the Chairman’s dinner and over and above that committing to support the Duracoat AAK Awards of Excellence up to the year 2020.

The Chief Guest in his keynote address spoke to the professionals at the dinner urging them to engage in introspection in order to identify what was possible by their own efforts instead of the blame game on the failures of government. He asked each person to consider what would happen if they closed down their business and if anybody would realize that they have closed and what legacy that business will have left behind. As a KEPSA Board Member heading the Mkenya Daima Initiative, he reminded all guests that we only had one Kenya and no other alternative Kenya and we must build it.
