The holiday season is upon us and this is easily identifiable by the many building transformation happening to suit the cheerful season. Many use lights to infuse the holiday mood to their décor. It’s a happy and cheerful season which is very sentimental to most as it’s a time for celebrating with family and friends to after a whole year’s long bustle and tussel -a time to unwind and relax. One can easily transform their space to achieve a better holiday ambience at the comfort of their home by doing a few tweaks and tricks to one’s home.

1. To achieve brighter rooms and spaces add one fresh color coat of paint to the original one on the walls. It is a very simple way to add on to your home a holiday aesthetic. This not only shows a clean slick background of the room but also enables greater light reflection making the room seem brighter. The top coat applied should be of good glossy/sheen quality in order to achieve  the fine finish that adds not only comfort but also newness to the space
2. Paint your cabinets a different color to update it from the old one. Just by changing certain surfaces in your house it changes the accent in a quick way and tends to look newer and fresher. Finding festive complementary colors to certain aspects of your home tends to really change the interior and adds a nice holiday aesthetic and one that will serve you for a long time after the holiday.
3. As the holiday season brings a spirit of warmth so should we strive to embody this in our homes which to us is our Castle! Adding warm colors to the family room or guest rooms should brighten our much deserved positive moods. As the temperatures in the tropics are warm and sunny incorporating warm colors such shades of orange, red, green and yellows are an indication of synergy with the Festive environment.
4. Many people embody the holiday feels by adding other decorations to the house. While prepping for the holiday one is sure to use a slew of festivity decorations as add on. One thing to keep in mind as you do this is to choose the right color palettes and shapes of the decorations that go with your house color.  This should complement your interior room colors and maintain harmony through the house.
5. Lastly this is a season of giving, and most companies tend to have offerings on their products and holiday deals. Many interior painting companies are no exception, and take into consideration this opportunity. Don’t wait! Go ahead and pamper yourself.
