Duracoat Penetrating Primer

An excellent choice for premium finish

DuraCoat Penetrating Primer is based on high quality resins, pigments and extenders. It is designed to bind loosely bound powdery and flaking surfaces. It can also be used on new and very porous plaster surfaces where prior binding is required before painting. It is recommended for use when redecorating external walls which have been neglected, and water seepage has led to deterioration of paint coats.

Surface preparation

Surfaces to be treated must be free from loose, flaking materials which must be removed by scrapping
Growths of fungus, algaes or moss should be removed by wire brushing and water
Any surface cracks or holes should be raked out and filled with Duracoat Internal & External Skimcoat
In the case of highly alkaline fresh masonry, apply the Duracoat Alkali Resistant Primer to provide excellent adhesion and integrity.
